The problem
Small everyday tasks — compress an image, convert a file, preview a link card, count words — often mean opening heavy desktop apps or uploading files to random online tools you don't trust.
What was built
toolit is a browser-first toolkit: image compress, crop, rotate and convert, Base64 encode/decode, OG preview, word counter, YouTube thumbnails and more. Everything runs locally in the browser — no account, no file uploads, private by default.
My role
- Web app development with Next.js and TypeScript
- Client-side image processing and conversion workflows
- Individual tool pages with fast, focused UX
- Growing collection of free utilities for creators and developers
Outcome
A free, privacy-friendly toolbox that stays out of the way — quick utilities for everyday workflows, entirely in the browser.
